Common Questions
How do I find a goalie?
Simply log into your account on GoalieGetter.com or our mobile app. Then, post your game details: the rink, the time, the minimum skill level you need, whether and how much you're offering, and any notes like team name, locker room, jersey color, etc.
What is the booking process?
Once you make your post, we notify all goaltenders whose self-reported skill level and rink preferences match your post. You'll get notified once a goalie claims your game and have an opportunity to chat with them prior to game time to work out any final details.Â
How do I verify a goalie?
All goalies have a profile with their self-reported skill level and bio. You can view their profile when a goalie claims your game. We plan to introduce skill and reliability ratings at some point in the future so that captains can review their goaltenders.
Can I book multiple goalies?
Absolutely! You can book up to 2 goaltenders per game post.
What if a goalie cancels on me?
If a goalie backs out and there is a waitlist of available goaltenders, we will notify the next goaltender in line so that they can confirm their availability. If your goalie cancels and we can't find you a replacement, you pay nothing.
Why can't I book games on Sundays?
Goaltending is hard work, and goalies are in high demand. We want them have a day to rest, spend time with family, and worship if they choose. For this reason, our system doesn't book goaltenders on Sundays.
